Quality management at Karelia UAS – Quality with cooperation
The aim of the quality management at Karelia University of Applied Sciences is to secure that the UAS operates effectively, functionally and consistently with its strategy, and that its operations are constantly developed. Development work is displayed in all processes and parts of the organisation and in everyone’s own work. Quality assurance system follows the principles of the PDCA continuous development cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act). The starting point is a continuous cycle of planning, doing, assessing and developing, which aims at continuous learning and development of the organization.
The elements of the quality assurance have been integrated into the management of operations and the intranet solution of the UAS (Karelia UAS-intra).
