Welcome to start your studies at Karelia University of Applied Sciences, Joensuu, Finland. As you prepare for your upcoming courses starting in August, we have put together a comprehensive pre-arrival package to ensure you are well-prepared from the start.
This pre-arrival elective course package is designed to help you begin your academic journey independently over the summer months of June, July, and partly August. The courses will be part of your degree as elective studies and the credits will count toward the scholarship for the 2nd study year.
Here is what you need to know:
To access the courses of this package, you need to:
- Know that Karelia UAS uses the online platform Moodle.
- Log in the Pre-arrival elective course package.
- Notice that the package includes five separate courses and one English language level test course.
- Notice that each course has its own link and unique access key. You will find these keys listed alongside the course names and links.
- Simply click on the course title, enter the corresponding access key, and you are in. Repeat this for each course.
- Before starting, take a moment to familiarise yourself with each course and their requirements.
The courses are studied independently. Notice that the teachers are out of the office during the summer months.
