Karelia University of Applied Sciences and other members of the INVEST European university alliance participated in the INVEST Rectors’ Assembly and Steering Committee meeting organized by the University of Milano-Bicocca in Milan, Italy from October 22 to 24, 2024.
During the meeting, the governance model for the “INVEST Center of Excellence in RDI,” which focuses on collaborative research, development, and innovation activities, was approved. Discussions also focused on the development of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs, as well as micro-credentials and the alliance’s ambitious mobility goals.
The event strengthened the relationships among INVEST rectors and reinforced partners’ commitment to shared objectives. Karelia was represented by President Petri Raivo, Director of International Affairs and INVEST Leader Liisa Timonen, and Project Specialist Riina Korhonen.
