The autumn joint application period to higher education begins on August 28 and continues until September 11, 2024.
At Karelia University of Applied Sciences, five degree programs in the field of social and health care are available in Finnish, offered as full-time or multi-modal studies: gerontology, public health nursing, social services, nursing, and physiotherapy. This time, the application also includes the International Business and Industrial Management programs, which are conducted in English. Applications for all programs are submitted through Studyinfo at opintopolku.fi. Students are selected for the programs through various selection methods, the most common being certificate-based selection and the entrance exam for universities of applied sciences, which is held at the end of October and beginning of November. The results of the student selections will be published by November 21, 2024, at the latest. Studies will begin in January 2025.
