Opening of the Week
Morning – Plenary events:
Session 1: The Importance of well-being: Supporting staff and students in higher education
Session 2: Fostering well-being in the workplace: Sharing best practices from partner HEIs. Lecture(s), followed by workshops.

Language awareness in classroom.   

Afternoon
:
Well-being in Finnish winter nature
(complimentary)

Afternoon/Evening – Social Programme:
Welcome reception (complimentary)

Wednesday, February 26 – Wärtsilä campus

Morning – Plenary events:
Session 3: Enhancing student well-being: Effective strategies and practices from partner HEIs. Lecture(s), followed by workshop  
Session 4: Climate change health effects and adaptation – hybrid workhop for students and staff

Afternoon – Breakout tracks:
13-15 International fair
– In the International fair, international guests have a possibility to host a booth and promote their university to Karelia UAS staff, students and international participants. In addition Karelia international students will host booths promoting their universities and countries to all participants.

Thursday, February 27   

Morning – Plenary events:
Session 5: Engagement and Inclusion: Key drivers of well-being in higher education  
Session 6: Inclusion and diversity through internationalisation at home and intercultural engagement
